1. A Handheld Experience
Have you ever booked a photo session and thought “ok great, now what?” Me too. That’s why at PBA, I’m committed to giving my clients a top notch experience. I hold your hand and guide you through every step of the process – from planning, preparing, providing you a list of things to bring, what to expect before, during and after the session and even my phone number for any random questions that may come up along the way. I want you to know that you are a priority to me, and that I am truly excited that you have chosen to trust me with your newest little love.
2. Relaxed Session
Most local newborn photographers offer sessions that last 90 minutes, 2 hours or sometimes 3 hours. At Photos by Ashleigh, I believe your baby should tell us when they’re ready to be done. If baby says they’re done after two hours – wonderful! But if baby needs a little more time and more breaks for feeding and snuggles, we will be patient and give them all the time they need. However I can also promise you that I will not keep you in the studio all day. If baby is having a rough day, we will reschedule for a different day when hopefully they’re feeling a bit better. I never, ever want my clients to feel like their session is rushed or that they are an inconvenience to me or my time. The average newborn session lasts 2-2.5 hours in the studio.
3. Professional Hair & Makeup for Mom
Mom, I have been where you are: freshly postpartum, exhausted and overwhelmed. At PBA, I love the opportunity to love on new mamas, and one way I do that is by offering complimentary hair and makeup by a professionally licensed hair and makeup artist. I have several different artists that I work with and trust, and I love that I can tell moms to just show up to their sessions and my Glam Squad will handle the rest! While you’re getting your hair and makeup done, I can start photos of baby with siblings, baby with dad or even a few of baby by themselves. Once you’re done we will add you in for some gorgeous family photos and some mommy and baby photos too.
4. Client Closet & Professional Styling
What good would professional hair and makeup be without an amazing closet of dresses for you to choose from for your session? Seriously – you could show up in your pajamas with hair in a messy bun and zero makeup and my team will have you photo ready in no time. My client closet ranges in sizes from XS to 3XL, and we add new dresses and sizes all the time. All of the dresses we have photograph beautifully, are flattering and are the perfect “icing on the cake” for your photo session look.
5. Heirloom Quality Products
After your session I won’t just email you a link to a gallery and hope you can figure out what to do with the photos – no way! I’ll invite you back into the studio for your Image Reveal, which is where you’ll see your fully edited gallery of images and lay hands on all of the amazing, high quality products that are offered at Photos by Ashleigh. You can choose from custom artwork, prints, custom designed albums, a fully customized Baby Book, or even a storyboard collage. You can still order digital images – I know how popular sharing your photos on social media is! Those are available for purchase along with your printed products as well.
All of these services – and more – are offered to all Photos by Ashleigh newborn clients as a way to give you the best newborn portrait experience possible.
Photos by Ashleigh is an OKC Newborn Photographer who specializes in studio newborn portraits, and is conveniently located just south of OKC. My clients come to me from Moore, Norman, Oklahoma City, Yukon, Mustang, Newcastle, Tuttle, Edmond and surrounding areas.
